CSI Tenants NARCC and CCNTO co-hosting Human Rights Day Event: December 7, 2006

The National Anti-Racism Council of Canada and the Chinese Canadian National Council Toronto Chapter will be joining with the Urban Alliance on Race Relations, Labour Community Services, and the Chinese Canadian National Council to host a reception commemorating International Human Rights Day on Thursday, December 7.

This reception will be held at the Urban Alliance on Race Relations offices

Co-operatives and Innovation: Influencing the Social Economy: May 28 to June 1, 2007

Three organizations will come together from May 28 – June 1, 2007, for the first time in a joint conference. The International Co-operative Alliance Committee on Co-operative Research, the Canadian Association for Studies in Co-operation, and the Association for Cooperative Educators will together host one unified conference in Saskatoon, SK. This event will combine the approaches and audiences of the respective organizations and will be held in conjunction with the 2007 Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences.

Co-operative and social economy researchers, educators, and practitioners from across Canada and around the globe will participate in these meetings. In conjunction with the larger gathering of the Congress, their attendance will make this conference a significant international event.
